Me? I’m trying to get through Beach Music by Pat Conroy.
To be honest? I’m having somewhat of a difficult time getting into it. I know! What is wrong with me, right? I mean come on, The Great Santini, right?! And The Prince of Tides?! Come on.
I wanted to get and read South of Broad but decided to read Beach Music first. I want to finish it before I get South of Broad. But dang, it is taking me forever to “get into it.”
A whole slew of other books sit on my shelf waiting to be read too. Believe me, I want to read all of them but finding time is tough. I reckon I need to stay up later than normal, read in the bathroom, read during my lunch hour, and/or get up at 3:00AM to read?
Tell me, how do you find time to read?

I’ve been a subscriber to the following writer’s resource/tool website for quite some time but I haven’t really used it. I have recently visited it again and was pleasantly surprised to see all the changes they’ve made to the site.
I need to start using it and more importantly need to contribute financially to their efforts.
More about Duotrope’s Digest, from their page:
Duotrope’s Digest is a free resource for writers that primarily offers an extensive, searchable database of current fiction and poetry markets. We also offer a calendar of upcoming deadlines, submissions trackers (for registered users), and some nifty reports compiled from the data we’ve accumulated.
We have been honored as one of Writer’s Digest 101 Best Websites for Writers for every year from 2006 through 2009. Also, Preditors & Editors selected us for their Truly Useful Site Award in February 2010.
We welcome comments, suggestions, and questions. Please note that this is a labor of love project and is still a work in progress. We are adding new features at our whim, when we have time to spare.
Check them out at Duotrope’s Digest.

Whatever.
Yes, I’m changing the “theme” of my blog again. I don’t know what I was thinking about trying to write about fashion. While I LOVE fashion it is not my passion to write about it. I like to read about fashion, I like to shop for fashion, I like to flip through the fashion magazines but I don’t want to blog about fashion.
I’m returning to my true passion; writing. Fiction writing. Or just plain ole fashioned blogging about life.
So there ya have it. I’ve also been over at my other blog for a while – Southern Sinful Bliss.
